The 5 enzymes in DigeZyme® (alpha-amylase, neutral protease, cellulase, lactase, lipase) improve the digestion of macronutrients from the meal with which Vitamin is taken, which has a direct effect on micronutrient absorption: the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) depends on the presence of fat in the meal and lipase for its hydrolysis; the absorption of minerals depends on the presence of amino acids and organic acids from protein digestion as chelators; and the complete digestion of carbohydrates by amylase releases the food matrix that can encapsulate and block micronutrient absorption. By including DigeZyme® in the multivitamin, Vitamin maximizes its own absorption by improving the digestion of the food context in which it is taken.
