About the Product
Life Pro Nutrition's Thermo 10 is the most complete and potent thermogenic supplement in the brand's fat burner range, formulated with 10 natural ingredients with thermogenic, lipolytic, stimulant, appetite-suppressant, and antioxidant mechanisms of action that work in synergy. Compared to the Evidenced Burner (3 ingredients, 300 mg caffeine/4 capsules) and Thermo Full (7 ingredients, moderate caffeine), Thermo 10 is the broadest-spectrum thermogenic with the highest caffeine dose in the Life Pro range: 350 mg total caffeine per 2 capsules (anhydrous caffeine + natural caffeine from green tea + natural caffeine from guarana). Ingredients per 2-capsule serving: green tea (EGCG + 7% caffeine) + anhydrous caffeine + N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine + guarana (22% caffeine) + bitter orange (p-synephrine) + Coleus forskohlii (forskolin) + onion (40% quercetin) + cayenne pepper (capsaicin) + L-Phenylalanine + BioPerine® 95% piperine. 2 capsules/day, 1 hour before training. 90 capsules. Vegan. Manufactured in facilities that process milk, soy, eggs, fish, and gluten.
Benefits
10 ingredients, 10 mechanisms of action: Life Pro's full-spectrum thermogenic approach:
Thermo 10 is built on the same base as Thermo Full (green tea + guarana + bitter orange + Coleus forskohlii + cayenne pepper + N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine + BioPerine®), to which it adds two exclusive ingredients: onion extract (quercetin) and L-Phenylalanine. Besides these two additional ingredients, Thermo 10 differs from Thermo Full in a higher total caffeine dose (350 mg vs. Thermo Full's more moderate dose), resulting in a more potent, but also more demanding stimulation profile in terms of caffeine tolerance. Thermo 10's positioning is clearly for users with higher stimulant tolerance who are looking for the most complete thermogenic in the portfolio.
Triple caffeine source with distinct kinetics: anhydrous caffeine + green tea 7% caffeine + guarana 22% caffeine:
Thermo 10 uses three caffeine sources with staggered absorption rates to cover different time windows during training. Anhydrous caffeine (155 mg per capsule, 310 mg per 2 capsules) is the primary fast-onset source: a dehydrated crystalline form with immediate dissolution and absorption in 15 to 30 minutes, with peak plasma levels in 45 to 60 minutes. Green tea caffeine (7% = ~21.9 mg per capsule, ~44 mg per 2 capsules) is absorbed slightly slower as the presence of green tea polyphenols moderates absorption. Guarana caffeine (22% of 100 mg extract = ~22 mg per capsule, ~44 mg per 2 capsules) is the slowest-absorbing of the trilogy: guarana seeds contain caffeine complexed with tannins and saponins that delay its release, resulting in a more prolonged and gradual effect compared to anhydrous caffeine. The combination of the three sources ensures a rapid energy onset (anhydrous caffeine), a sustained intermediate phase (green tea caffeine), and a more gradual final energy phase (guarana caffeine), covering the entire duration of a 60 to 90-minute workout.
Onion extract (40% quercetin): Thermo 10's exclusive antioxidant and anti-inflammatory:
The most distinctive ingredient of Thermo 10 compared to other Life Pro thermogenics is dried onion extract (Allium cepa) standardized to 40% quercetin. Quercetin is a flavonoid with multiple relevant properties in the context of fat loss and intense training. Firstly, it has potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity that reduces oxidative stress and chronic low-grade inflammation associated with intense training and prolonged caloric deficit. Secondly, quercetin has COMT inhibitory properties (catechol-O-methyltransferase), the same mechanism as EGCG from green tea that prolongs the action of noradrenaline in adipocytes: quercetin competes with catecholamines for the active site of COMT, extending noradrenaline's half-life and enhancing its lipolytic effect. Thirdly, quercetin has phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitory properties similar to caffeine, increasing intracellular cAMP levels. The combination of quercetin + EGCG + caffeine represents a triple inhibition of COMT/PDE with a synergistic effect on adrenergic signaling in adipocytes.
L-Phenylalanine: appetite suppression and support for dopaminergic neurotransmission:
L-Phenylalanine (L-Phe) is the essential aromatic amino acid precursor of L-Tyrosine and, indirectly, of catecholamines (dopamine, noradrenaline, adrenaline). In the context of Thermo 10, L-Phenylalanine has a specific and important effect that distinguishes it from N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (which is also present in the formula): L-Phenylalanine stimulates the release of cholecystokinin (CCK) by the duodenal mucosa. CCK is the most potent gastrointestinal hormone for inducing post-prandial satiety: it is released by the duodenum in response to the presence of proteins and fats in the intestinal lumen, acts on the vagus nerve (via CCK-1/CCKA receptors) to send satiety signals to the hypothalamus, and delays gastric emptying (prolonging the feeling of fullness). The stimulation of CCK release by L-Phenylalanine contributes to appetite suppression, which is one of the most valued properties by Thermo 10 users during hypocaloric diet phases.
N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine: cognitive focus and catecholaminergic support complementary to L-Phenylalanine:
While L-Phenylalanine supports appetite suppression via CCK and serves as a tyrosine synthesis substrate, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT) has superior brain bioavailability compared to free L-Tyrosine and more directly supports catecholamine synthesis in the CNS. The combination of L-Phenylalanine + NALT in the same formula covers the complete chain of precursors (L-Phenylalanine → L-Tyrosine → L-DOPA → Dopamine → Noradrenaline), ensuring maximum amino acid substrate for maintaining catecholaminergic tone during phases of high metabolic stress (caloric deficit + intense training).
Coleus forskohlii (forskolin) and cayenne pepper (capsaicin): the two thermogenics with a distinct mechanism from other ingredients:
As described in the Thermo Full section, Coleus forskohlii directly activates adenylate cyclase (increasing cAMP independently of adrenergic receptors) and cayenne pepper activates TRPV1 receptors (via capsaicin, with reflexive thermogenesis via the sympathetic nervous system and UCP-1 in brown adipose tissue). Both have distinct and complementary mechanisms to those of caffeine, EGCG, quercetin, and p-synephrine, resulting in the activation of multiple simultaneous pathways of thermogenesis and lipolysis.
BioPerine® 95% piperine: maximized absorption of all 10 ingredients:
BioPerine® (12.5 mg/capsule = 25 mg/serving) is especially relevant in Thermo 10 given the complexity of the formula: the improvement of bioavailability by piperine is particularly important for polyphenols (EGCG, quercetin, capsaicin, forskolin) which have significant pre-systemic metabolism via intestinal glucuronidation and sulfation, and which without BioPerine® could have suboptimal bioavailability even at nominally adequate doses.
Uses
Recommended dose: Take 2 capsules/day, 1 hour before training, preferably with a light meal. To assess caffeine tolerance (350 mg/2 capsules is a high dose), start with 1 capsule/day in the first week and progress to 2 capsules/day only if well tolerated. On non-training days, take 1 capsule in the morning with breakfast. Avoid consumption after 3 PM in caffeine-sensitive individuals. Do not combine with other caffeine products on the same day.
