Sinetrol® XPUR for selective lipolysis of abdominal adipose tissue: Sinetrol® XPUR is a patented citrus extract (Citrus sinensis, Citrus paradisi, Citrus aurantifolia) standardised in flavonoid polyphenols, with 4 published clinical studies demonstrating significant reductions in total body fat and especially in abdominal fat (visceral and subcutaneous). The mechanism of action of Sinetrol® XPUR is the selective inhibition of phosphodiesterases in adipose tissue, increasing intracellular cAMP levels in adipocytes and activating hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL), the enzyme responsible for lipolysis. Unlike caffeine and ephedrine, which act on adrenergic receptors, Sinetrol® XPUR acts directly inside adipocytes, having a more selective effect on adipose tissue and less cardiovascular impact. Clinical studies with Sinetrol® XPUR document significantly greater weight and body fat loss compared to placebo in adults on a hypocaloric diet.
Clarinol® CLA for lean mass preservation and body fat reduction: Clarinol® is a patented form of CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) produced by a specific isomerism (80% trans-10, cis-12 and cis-9, trans-11) that maximises the bioactivity of CLA. CLA acts on PPAR receptors (peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors) modulating the expression of genes involved in lipid metabolism: it inhibits lipoprotein lipase (LPL) in adipose tissue (reducing triglyceride uptake by adipocytes), increases beta-oxidation of fatty acids in muscles and liver, and stimulates adipocyte apoptosis. The most important characteristic of CLA in a sports context is its ability to preserve lean muscle mass during caloric restriction phases, shifting nutrient partitioning in favour of muscle anabolism and adipose lipolysis.
SuperCitriMax® for inhibition of lipogenesis and appetite control: SuperCitriMax® is a patented form of Garcinia cambogia standardised in HCA (Hydroxycitric Acid) chelated with calcium and potassium to improve HCA bioavailability and stability. HCA inhibits the ATP-citrate lyase enzyme, which converts citrate into acetyl-CoA, the precursor for fatty acid synthesis (lipogenesis) from excess carbohydrates. By inhibiting lipogenesis, SuperCitriMax® reduces fat accumulation from excess dietary carbohydrates. Additionally, HCA increases hepatic and muscle glycogen availability, which can contribute to appetite reduction and total caloric intake.
Capsimax® for thermogenesis and increased energy expenditure: Capsimax® is a patented capsaicin extract from red pepper encapsulated in an OMNI-COAT™ controlled-release coating, which allows capsaicin to be gradually released in the small intestine without the burning and gastric irritation associated with conventional capsaicin. Capsaicin activates TRPV1 receptors in brown adipose tissue, stimulating adaptive thermogenesis and resting energy expenditure. Uses
Recommended dose: Take the recommended capsules with water 30 to 45 minutes before training or main meals. Refer to the packaging for the specific dose. Start with half the recommended dose to assess individual tolerance. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not take within 8 hours before sleep.
Usage cycles: Use in cycles of 8 to 12 weeks with a subsequent break of at least 4 weeks, to avoid desensitisation of adrenergic receptors to stimulating and thermogenic effects.
