About the Product
Life Pro Nutrition's Liquid Carnipure Carnitine is the liquid version of the brand's L-Carnitine Carnipure®, with 2000 mg of L-Carnitine Tartrate Carnipure® per 30 ml serving, enriched with Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) 1.4 mg per serving (100% of NRV). Lemon flavor. The liquid format provides double the dose of carnitine compared to the capsule version (2000 mg vs. 1000 mg) and has superior absorption kinetics: L-Carnitine in aqueous solution is absorbed more quickly in the small intestine than carnitine in capsules (which first requires the capsule to dissolve and then the solid content to disperse), resulting in a faster plasma peak. 500 ml per bottle, ~16 servings of 30 ml. Flavor: Lemon. Stimulant-free. Vegan.
Full ingredients per serving (30 ml): Water + L-Carnitine Tartrate (Carnipure®) 2000 mg + Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 1.4 mg + Lemon flavor + Preservative: potassium sorbate + Sweetener: sucralose.
Benefits
2000 mg of L-Carnitine Tartrate Carnipure® per serving: double the dose of the capsule version in an optimized absorption form:
The 2000 mg per 30 ml serving of the liquid format places this product at the most clinically studied dosage levels for carnitine's ergogenic effects. The study by Wall et al. (2011) used 2 g/day of L-Carnitine + 80 g of carbohydrates to document measurable increases in muscle carnitine content and fat oxidation during moderate-intensity exercise after 24 weeks. The 2000 mg/day dose is the reference dose most commonly used in clinical trials on carnitine and fat metabolism, performance, and muscle recovery.
Liquid format: faster absorption and convenience in the pre-workout context:
L-Carnitine in aqueous solution is already dissolved and available for immediate absorption by OCTN2 transporters in the intestinal mucosa as soon as it reaches the small intestine, without the need for dissolution and dispersion of solids. This faster onset of absorption is especially relevant in the pre-workout window (30 minutes before), where the speed of carnitine availability in muscle cells is important to maximize its role in fatty acid transport during exercise. In addition, the liquid format is convenient for those who prefer not to swallow capsules, and the lemon flavor with sucralose makes it palatable directly or diluted in water.
Vitamin B6 1.4 mg (100% NRV): the cofactor for energy and amino acid metabolism:
The inclusion of Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) in the liquid formula is a relevant functional addition: B6 (in its active form of pyridoxal-5-phosphate, PLP) is a cofactor in multiple amino acid metabolism reactions, including transamination and endogenous carnitine synthesis (the biosynthesis of carnitine from lysine and methionine requires B6 as a cofactor in several steps). EFSA has approved the claim that B6 contributes to normal energy metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. The 1.4 mg/serving dose covers 100% of the NRV for B6, ensuring that the user is not deficient in B6, which could limit endogenous carnitine synthesis.
Potassium sorbate preservative and sucralose sweetener: stability and palatability without calories:
Potassium sorbate is the most widely used food preservative in aqueous liquid formulations, with an excellent safety profile (GRAS by FDA, approved by EFSA) and antifungal and antibacterial activity that ensures the microbiological stability of the product throughout its shelf life and after opening. Sucralose (a calorie-free sweetener derived from sucrose) provides sweetness without added sugars or calories, keeping the product suitable for fat loss diets with caloric restriction.
Uses
Recommended dose: Take 30 ml (1 dispenser) directly or diluted in water, 30 minutes before training. It can also be taken after training to support muscle recovery. On non-training days, take in the morning. Shake before use. After opening, store refrigerated and consume within the indicated period.
