300mg of caffeine per capsule: the highest dose in the Lipo-6 line:
With ~300mg of anhydrous caffeine per capsule (confirmed directly by Nutrex Research — the dose is not declared on the label but the brand confirmed 300mg/dose to multiple retailers and reviewers), Lipo-6 Hardcore has the highest caffeine concentration of the entire Lipo-6 line — higher than UC (200mg) and Intense (~250mg). 300mg of caffeine is equivalent to approximately 3 strong espressos or 2 large cups of filtered coffee. For safety context: EFSA considers doses up to 400mg/day to be safe for healthy adults, and with 2 capsules/day Hardcore provides 600mg of total caffeine — at the upper limit of what is considered safe, which justifies the requirement to never exceed 1 capsule/dose and never more than 2 capsules/24h.
Cocoabuterol® (Theobroma cacao, 50% total alkaloids): the most concentrated cocoa extract on the market:
Cocoabuterol® (a registered trademark of NNB Nutrition) is a Theobroma cacao seed extract standardized to a minimum of 50% total cocoa alkaloids — the highest concentration commercially available. Cocoa contains a family of alkaloids with thermogenic, lipolytic, and neuroactive properties: theobromine (the most abundant alkaloid, ~1 to 4% of dry mass), caffeine (~0.2 to 0.5%), theophylline (bronchodilator and weak stimulant), phenylethylamine (PEA) (neuromodulator with effects on mood and focus), and multiple cocoa flavonoids (epicatechin, catechin, procyanidins) with vasodilatory and antioxidant effects. Cocoabuterol® standardized to 50% total alkaloids contains significantly higher doses of all these compounds compared to conventional cocoa powder (2 to 4% alkaloids) or isolated pure theobromine. The combination of theobromine + theophylline + PEA from Cocoabuterol® with the anhydrous caffeine from Hardcore creates a richer and more nuanced stimulating and thermogenic profile than the simple addition of isolated anhydrous theobromine used in UC and Intense.
Capsicum annuum 2% capsaicin: thermogenesis via TRPV1 activation and appetite suppression:
Capsicum annuum Extract standardized to 2% capsaicin is the thermogenic ingredient in Hardcore via TRPV1 (Transient Receptor Potential Vanilloid 1) — analogous to the effect of cayenne pepper described in multiple previous products in this session (Stage, Thermo Full, Power M.F). Capsaicin activates TRPV1 receptors in the afferent nerve fibers of the gastrointestinal mucosa and skin, triggering a reflex response from the sympathetic nervous system that increases thermogenesis and fat oxidation. In addition to the thermogenic effect, capsaicin has documented appetite-suppressing properties: it reduces caloric intake in subsequent meals after administration via gastrointestinal mechanisms (reduction of gastric emptying and increased feeling of satiety via CCK and GLP-1). Standardization to 2% capsaicin ensures a reproducible active dose per capsule.
Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum 10:1): the South African adaptogen for mood, focus, and appetite suppression:
Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum, a succulent plant from South Africa) is the most unusual and innovative ingredient in the Lipo-6 line — rarely found in conventional fat burners. Used for centuries by the Khoikhoi and San peoples of South Africa as a masticatory to reduce hunger, fatigue, and anxiety during long hunts, Kanna's active compounds are mesembrine alkaloids (PDE4 inhibitors that increase intracellular cAMP) and mesembrenols (serotonin reuptake transporter, SERT inhibitors). Kanna thus combines two distinct neuroactive mechanisms: PDE4 inhibition (the same mechanism as caffeine, but more selective for the central nervous system) and serotonin reuptake inhibition (serotonergic effect similar to SSRIs but with reduced potency). Documented practical effects include: improved mood and reduced anxiety (especially relevant for athletes on prolonged caloric restriction, where mood and motivation are often compromised), improved focus and cognition, and appetite suppression (via serotonergic mechanisms — serotonin has documented anorexigenic effects). The 10:1 extract ensures a high concentration of mesembrine per capsule.
GBBGO® (Gamma-Butyrobetaine): the thermogenic "super carnitine" (shared with Intense):
As already described in the Lipo-6 Black Intense section, GBBGO® is the immediate precursor of endogenous L-Carnitine that increases plasma and muscle levels of L-Carnitine more effectively than oral L-Carnitine, enhancing the transport of fatty acids to the mitochondria and thermogenesis. In Hardcore, GBBGO® combines with capsaicin (thermogenesis via TRPV1) and Cocoabuterol® (thermogenesis via cocoa alkaloids + PEA) to create a thermogenic stack with 3 distinct mechanical pathways — more diversified than previous products in the line.
Rauwolscine 90% (without yohimbine HCl): the purified α2 blockade:
Hardcore uses only Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine, Rauwolfia vomitoria, 90% purity) as an α2 antagonist — without conventional yohimbine HCl. This choice is consistent with the "new generation" philosophy: rauwolscine has a higher affinity for the α2 receptor than conventional yohimbine and lower activity on other adrenergic subtypes (α1, β1, β2) — which means greater lipolytic specificity with a lower risk of unwanted cardiovascular effects. For athletes who responded well to rauwolscine but experienced side effects with conventional yohimbine (anxiety, hypertension, tachycardia), the substitution with pure rauwolscine is an advantage.
Usage
Recommended dosage: Take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the afternoon, between meals (do not take with food). NEVER exceed 1 capsule per dose. NEVER take more than 2 capsules in 24 hours. Do not take within 6 hours before bedtime. To assess tolerance, start with 1 capsule only in the morning for 3 to 5 days. Use in cycles: maximum 60 days of use + 30 days break (longer break than other Lipo-6 products — 30 days vs. 15 days — indicated by Nutrex for Hardcore). 60 capsules = 30 days of use.
