About the Product
HSN's FoodSeries Fit Style Ready Meals are complete, traditionally cooked meals, packaged in individual trays in a protective atmosphere, specially developed for athletes and people who lead an active lifestyle and need nutritious, balanced, and ready-to-eat meals, without sacrificing flavour or ingredient quality. Each 420g tray is a complete meal based on chicken (lean protein with high biological value) combined with a source of complex carbohydrates (rice, pasta, or bulgur) and accompanied by a sauce inspired by a different international cuisine: French style (mustard), Indian (curry), Asian (soy sauce), Mexican (spicy sauce), or Italian (tomato sauce). The formula is ready in 2 and a half minutes in the microwave, requires no refrigeration, and can be stored on a shelf for months.

No additives, no preservatives, no artificial flavours, no colourings, no thickeners. 100% real food, natural ingredients.
Benefits
Real food without additives: only ingredients you recognise from a homemade recipe: The vast majority of ready meals available on the market extensively use food additives for preservation, texture, flavour, and colour: preservatives (E200, E202, E210), thickeners (E1422, E1412), artificial flavours, flavour enhancers (E621), colourings (E150, E160), and other compounds you would never use in a homemade recipe. HSN's Fit Ready Meals dispense with all these additives thanks to the modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) system, which replaces the air inside the packaging with a mixture of inert food gases (CO₂ and N₂) that inhibit microbial growth and food oxidation without the need for any chemical preservatives. The result is a meal with an ingredient list as simple as a homemade recipe.
High content of high-quality biological chicken protein: Chicken is the main protein source in all Fit recipes, chosen for being one of the meats with the best essential amino acid profile and one of the lowest saturated fat densities available. The biological quality of chicken protein is close to that of eggs and whey (PDCAAS close to 1.0), with a complete essential amino acid profile and a leucine/total protein ratio especially favourable for stimulating muscle protein synthesis. Each 420g tray provides approximately 30g of protein, the equivalent of a complete protein meal to support muscle mass growth and maintenance.
Complex carbohydrates with a moderate glycaemic index: The carbohydrate bases used in Fit recipes (white rice, pasta, wheat bulgur) are sources of complex carbohydrates with gradual digestion, which provide energy more sustainably and with a lower glycaemic peak than simple carbohydrates. Each tray provides approximately 90 to 95g of carbohydrates, a balanced amount that provides enough energy for a workout or as a post-workout recovery meal, without being excessive for people in a calorie control phase.
Low saturated fat content: lean meats and quality oils: The selection of leaner chicken parts (breast, skinless thigh) and the use of olive oil or rapeseed oil for the sauces (instead of butter or heavy creams) keeps the total fat content moderate and the saturated fat content low. The international sauces that accompany each recipe are formulated in a "fit" way: lighter, lower-calorie versions of traditional sauces that preserve the characteristic flavour of each cuisine without the caloric impact of the original versions.
Room temperature storage for months: the perfect logistical solution: The modified atmosphere packaging system allows ready meals to be stored at room temperature (without the need for a refrigerator or freezer) for several months, without significant loss of nutritional or organoleptic properties. This feature is especially relevant for: athletes who want to maintain a stock of healthy meals without relying on refrigerator space, people who need meals for work or travel without the need for a cold chain, and consumers looking for a nutritious, long-lasting alternative to keep at home for emergencies or when time is short.
Ready in 2 and a half minutes, no cooking utensils needed: The tray goes directly into the microwave (piercing the top film), without the need to transfer to other containers, no pots, no pans, no defrosting time. Alternative: pour the contents into a frying pan and heat over medium heat for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly before consuming. Extreme practicality is one of the main differentiators of this product compared to available alternatives (frozen meals that require defrosting, packaging that requires additional utensils, or manual preparation of rice with chicken that takes 30 to 40 minutes).
Variety of international flavours: anti-monotony solution for high-protein diets: One of the biggest challenges of structured high-protein diets (typical for athletes in cutting or bulking phases) is food monotony: white rice with grilled chicken breast, repeated daily, makes any diet psychologically difficult to maintain long-term. HSN's 5 Fit recipes, with their curry, soy, mustard, tomato, and spice sauces, offer real flavour variety and gastronomic experience without departing from the balanced nutritional profile that a fitness diet requires.
Uses
Preparation method: Pierce the top film of the tray and place in the microwave at maximum power for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Alternative: pour the contents into a frying pan and heat over medium heat for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly before consuming.
When to consume: As a complete lunch or dinner meal, before or after training, or as a practical option to take to work without the need for a refrigerated lunchbox. For people with a larger appetite or in a muscle gain phase, it can be combined with an additional protein source (eggs, Greek yoghurt) or with a salad to increase the volume and total nutritional value of the meal.
Storage: At room temperature, in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Always check the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
