Amix's Vitargo® Load Pure is a high-performance carbohydrate supplement based on Vitargo®, the only patented and clinically tested carbohydrate at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, produced from barley starch amylopectin through a specific enzymatic process. Ultra-fast gastric emptying due to low osmolality of the solution: The mechanism responsible for the accelerated gastric emptying of Vitargo® is its low osmolality in aqueous solution. Despite its extremely high molecular weight, each Vitargo® molecule represents only one osmotically active particle, resulting in a very low osmotic concentration even at high doses. Gastric emptying is regulated by the osmolality of the solution in the stomach: hypoosmotic solutions quickly pass into the small intestine, while hyperosmotic solutions are retained. Vitargo® in solution has lower osmolality than conventional maltodextrin or dextrose solutions at the same carbohydrate concentration, passing into the intestine within minutes of ingestion, without the feeling of "heavy stomach" or gastrointestinal discomfort often associated with conventional sports drinks.
Faster muscle glycogen replenishment than conventional carbohydrates: The study conducted at the Karolinska Institute directly compared Vitargo® with maltodextrin and dextrose drinks in terms of muscle glycogen replenishment rate after exhaustive exercise. Vitargo® demonstrated 70% faster glycogen replenishment in the first 2 hours of post-exercise recovery compared to conventional carbohydrates. This advantage is especially relevant for athletes with multiple training or competition sessions on the same day, where the speed of glycogen replenishment between sessions is crucial for performance in the second session.

Uses
Pre-workout (energy load): Mix 75g (2 scoops) with 200ml of cold water and shake vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes. Add another 400ml of water to make 600ml and shake again. Consume 30 minutes before training to maximize available glycogen stores.
Intra-workout (energy maintenance): Consume during long sessions (more than 60 to 90 minutes) to maintain blood glucose levels and delay muscle glycogen depletion.
Post-workout (glycogen replenishment): Consume immediately after training to initiate accelerated glycogen replenishment. Ideally combine with a fast-absorbing protein source (whey isolate or hydrolysate) to enhance insulin signaling and muscle protein synthesis.
Pre-competition carbohydrate loading: For prolonged physical activities, mix 150g (4 scoops) with 400ml of water and top up to 1200ml, for 3 days before the competition. Consume throughout the day between main meals.
General dose: 1g of product per kg of body weight, dissolved in 400ml of water, twice a day.
